The new DLC pack focuses a lot on melee combat. 3 new biomes including Scrapyard, Rubellite, and Hoodoo Desert are available throughout Campaign and Career modes, and Instant action. The base game has been available for Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store, GOG, and Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Thanks to the developers for supporting the game and I really hope to see more after this (CLANS!!) Call to Arms releases June 8th for all platforms. Also, the new music for DLC3 by Sean Kolton rocks! Highly recommended purchase if you just want more Mechwarrior 5. The 3 new biomes are really pretty and cool, the Hatchetman is super awesome and it even has a 5 mission questline, and I do appreciate the new skin we got. This DLC is pretty affordable and gives you a lot of cool new stuff. Doesn’t just throw lore out of the window, it throws lore out of the window, smashes it with a hammer, stabs it, disintegrates it, and buries it alive, all on top of being a cash grab to get more money out of the Mechwarrior license before it gets gobbled back up by Microsoft. Your depravity has doomed you to a death devoid of honor, be grateful that I at least grant you death by the blade. 23 new melee weapon-focused ‘Mech variants, plus 5 melee weapon-focused Hero ‘Mech variants. Tournament combat in the arenas of Solaris 7 should be next! Consider yourself lucky, kid. However I 100% support the devs and I want to see more future content. Melee combat without repair bays is risky when you can take down enemies at range. This DLC isn’t very large and doesn’t add anything ground breaking. I know some are going to wait for mods to update or a sale and I would understand that. Call to Arms is all about amping up the destruction with new Melee weapons.
